Retail careers start here
There’s so much you can learn when you join us in store. Where you go and how quickly you get there is up to you. We offer ongoing training and development for our optical assistant roles, as well as Certificate 3 and 4 in Dispensing. We also offer retail leadership programs which can lead you to a retail manager role or be the first step on the path to becoming a partner and owning your own retail business.

Our Graduate Program
Our Specsavers Graduate Program is an unrivalled and industry leading two-year development program that provides graduate optometrists with the best possible start to your optometry career. Developed and finessed over the past 15 years, the program provides structured support both in and out of the store environment, continuing clinical development with networking, mentoring and formal development programs.
Early Career Optometrists
The Early Career Optometrist (ECO) Program is a dedicated training and mentoring program, designed to support optometrists as you grow your career. This holistic program offers clinical and non-clinical development opportunities such as voluntary work, outreach and mentoring.
Pathways to Partnership
We are passionate about growing our partnership, both from inside and outside our business. Our PiD and Pathway programs are designed for aspiring partners and provide bespoke commercial, management and leadership training as well as coaching support to give you the tools you'll need to own your own Specsavers store one day.
