The Role & Team

As a Data Engineer within our ANZ Data team, you’ll play a key role in transforming business requirements into practical, data-driven solutions. You’ll be responsible for migrating and shaping data, building views that empower teams across the organisation, and ensuring data is accessible and valuable for decision-making.

In this role, your primary focus will be on data integrity and security. You’ll lead the analysis, design, and development of tools and frameworks that support data transformation, migration, and other critical services. A key part of the role will involve supporting and migrating legacy data systems, which remain essential to our success. By creating repeatable, reliable processes, you’ll ensure our data solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs—making you an essential part of delivering high-quality outcomes.

What we are looking for:

  • You have 3 – 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with proven hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks, including advanced use of SQL and Python for data transformation and migration (essential).
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-departmental relationships across the ANZ region, while leveraging business insight and technical expertise to provide strategic advice and deliver improved outcomes (essential)
  • Strong technical ability with a solid understanding of big data platforms and their architecture. Proficient in data development tools and ETL processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and business processes in clear, simple language to stakeholders at all levels
  • Relevant certifications in Azure Databricks or Azure Data Engineering is preferred

We will be reviewing and contacting successful applicants within the next 7 days.
