The Role & Team

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Accountant to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting directly to the Financial Reporting Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing commercially focused financial accounting support to our support office operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the ANZ investment register – accurately recording monthly movements, posting journals and preparing reconciliations
  • Managing the ANZ Loan portfolio – reconciling monthly movements, preparing reports, journals and ensuring timely responses to stakeholder queries
  • Partnering with Audiology, Optical, and Recruitment teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit processes

The skills we are looking for:

  • CA/CPA qualified with demonstrated experience within a financial/management accounting role
  • Strong communication skills and effective stakeholder management
  • Intermediate excel skills 
  • High attention to detail
  • Experienced in managing high-volume financial transactions and reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely reporting and compliance
