What you'll do

Specsavers Rockhampton North and Rockhampton Allenstown have a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Retailer to join our friendly team of 38 across two well-established stores, which includes 9 qualified dispensers. With over 540 years of combined experience in the optics industry, our team is highly regarded in the community for delivering the highest quality patient care.

Located on the Fitzroy River and just a short drive from the Capricorn Coast, Rockhampton is a vibrant regional hub in Central Queensland. Known as the Beef Capital of Australia, it blends rich heritage with modern amenities, including quality healthcare, education, and growing infrastructure. As the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, Rockhampton offers easy access to stunning coastal escapes and natural attractions like Mount Archer and the botanic gardens. Its welcoming community and relaxed lifestyle make it a thriving destination in Queensland’s heartland.

Specsavers Rockhampton North first opened in 2010 within Stockland Rockhampton Shopping Centre, a popular retail destination with over 160 specialty stores including Big W, Coles, Kmart, and Woolworths. The store itself is 195sqm in size and features 5 optical test rooms, a dedicated audiology room, 7 dispense desks, and 2 stand-up desks.

Due to continued business growth, a second store, Specsavers Rockhampton Allenstown, opened in 2021 at Allenstown Shopping Centre, anchored by Woolworths. The store is 175sqm in size with 3 Optical test rooms, a dedicated Audiology room and 6 dispense desks. Both stores boast state of the art equipment including OCT, display over 1,000 frames, and offer accessible parking.

This store demographic would offer the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to experience a variety of pathology and make positive impact in their local community.
