The role & team

At Specsavers, we’re proud to have a supportive and collaborative Payroll team of twenty who form part of our wider People & Organisation department. We are excited to be recruiting a Payroll Officer to join our team, reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will you’ll be focusing on performing the store payroll function for our Australian stores, ensuring clear and accurate payments. You’ll be responsible for adhering to relevant taxation, legislation, awards, and organisational policies to ensure everything is perfectly aligned.

What we are looking for

  • Sound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management & organisational skills
  • Possess a high attention to detail
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Customer focused
  • ADP/UKG Pro experience is highly desirable but not essential
