Are you a high-performing agency recruiter ready for the challenge of moving in house?

Our Specsavers Recruitment Services (SRS) team in Port Melbourne is looking for a Recruitment Consultant who thrives in a fast paced, high volume environment.

Reporting directly to the SRS Permanent Recruitment Team Leader, you’ll become part of a collaborative group that works closely with our Store Partners across Australia to deliver high-quality, fast-paced recruitment across both optical and retail roles.

In your role you will develop effective resourcing strategies, from sourcing, selection and assessment, while also contributing to store retention initiatives and broader resource planning tailored to each region. You’ll be responsible for building strong relationships with Store Partners and hiring managers, as well as with candidates, identifying opportunities to provide additional permanent recruitment solutions, and ensuring best practice processes are consistently applied.

We believe in adopting a hybrid approach to support our people and the future of work. When not working from an alternate location, this role will be based at our support office in Port Melbourne.

The skills we are looking for

  • Demonstrated end to end recruitment experience within a candidate short market and high-volume portfolio
  • Demonstrated experience implementing proactive talent strategies to recruit for niche / hard to fill roles
  • Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
  • A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build strategic working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • A can-do attitude with a passion for continuous improvement
