The role & team
Join our dynamic and high-performing Transactions Support team as a Transactions Officer on a part-time, 8-month contract working Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Reporting to the Senior Transactions Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Your responsibilities will also include managing vendor reconciliations, processing expense claims, weekly payment runs, month-end reporting, and resolving invoice queries. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, efficiency, and strong communication skills.
At Specsavers, we believe in adopting a hybrid approach to support our people and the future of work. When not working from an alternate location, you will be based at our support office in Port Melbourne.
The skills we are looking for
Proven experience in a similar Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable role
Highly organised team player with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders across all levels of the business
Proactive mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level
