Partner with Specsavers
Build your own future
Feel the freedom of being a partner
Partnership is at the heart of our success at Specsavers. We’re not one huge business, we’re thousands of small ones, owned and locally run by our partners. And you could be one of them. Here, you’ll never be on your own. You and your partner will manage the day to day running of the business. With low barriers to entry, it’s much more affordable than you might think, and we’ll be there right by your side with all the support you need to be successful.
Start your partnership conversationWhat is partnership?
Partnership isn’t just about owning a store and/or independent clinic. It’s knowing you’ve got what it takes to lead the way. It’s sharing the responsibility of running a business with others just as passionate as you are. Watch the video to find out more.
Why become a partner?
This is your opportunity to run your own store and independent clinic (if you’re an optometrist), without the worry of doing everything yourself. The support you get here as a partner is unmatched – everything from HR and recruitment, to IT and finance, help with marketing and PR, as well as procurement and purchasing. Essentially, you can look after your customers and patients and take care of your teams, and we look after you. That means your development doesn’t stop either. You’ll continue to grow your skills and experience, taking on new responsibilities and investing in other stores if you want to.
Open to everyone with a passion for eyecare
Whether you're an optometrist, optician, or retail professional, we look at your experience and ambition to find the right partnership. We look for a passion for patient care, an entrepreneurial mindset, with tenacity and the ability to lead. We can help support your development on the path towards partnership and with so many different options available, we’ll help you find a business that works for you and is affordable.
Four steps to partnership
What happens when you apply for partnership with us? Here are the four basic steps we’ll take you through.
Get in touch
The first step is to meet with our Partnership team, who can help you understand partnership in more detail.
Explore your strengths
Next, we’ll take you through a series of assessments to see if partnership is the right fit for you and what support you might need.
Find your store
If you’re ready for partnership, you’re matched with a complementary partner. You’ll be working closely with them, so it’s really important to get to know each other well.
Get started
Once you’re all set with your documents, it’s time to officially get the keys to your new business, with comprehensive business support along the way.

Not always, it depends on your personal circumstances.
We have a number of recommended lenders who understand our unique business model, they’ll help you through this part of the process. We’ll introduce you to the lenders when the time comes.
Anyone! As long as you have the right experience and demonstrate our values and behaviours, you can become a partner. Our Retail Partnership roles don’t require you to have optical or audio experience, but you’ll need to demonstrate clear leadership skills. If you’re looking at our Optometrist or Audiologist Partnerships, you’ll need to be qualified.
We have loads of dedicated support teams to help you on your journey, including Finance, Marketing HR, Retail Support, IT and Recruitment. Working at Specsavers also means you’ll have the backing of a global brand.

We have a committed business development team who are always on the lookout for new locations. They’re the ones who work on finding the right places for new businesses.
