To support our Northern Europe Support office operations, we’re looking for a dedicated and service-minded P&O Coordinator to join our team on a 25-hour-per-week basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in creating a great workplace experience, and is ready to play a key role in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. 

  

Your role 

 

As our P&O Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in creating a smooth, welcoming, and well-functioning environment at our Northern Europe Support office. You’ll be the go-to person for all things related to office facilities, onboarding, and internal office events – working closely with our facility provider, canteen, and various internal teams. 

 

This is a part-time role (25 hours per week), perfect for someone who enjoys a broad range of tasks and values variety in their workday. 

 

Your main responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Coordinating onboarding and offboarding activities, including office tours, access setup, and equipment management 

  • Acting as the link between Specsavers and the office facility provider to ensure a functional and inspiring work environment 

  • Managing key office services like refreshments, supplies, lockers, and canteen collaboration 

  • Overseeing the office budget in close cooperation with Finance 

  • Leading and supporting various staff initiatives such as holiday gifts, wellness activities, and Diversity & Inclusion events 

  • Handling practicalities for office events and contributing to a positive team atmosphere 

  • Participating in the NESO Work Environment Council and helping to shape a healthy and inclusive workplace 

  • Supporting the People & Organisation (P&O) team with ad hoc administrative tasks

As our new P&O Coordinator, you’ll be joining a passionate and collaborative People & Organisation (P&O) team of 15 colleagues. While each of us brings our own area of expertise, we work closely across functions and with the broader Northern Europe organisation to deliver great people experiences. 

Our team combines long-standing Specsavers knowledge with fresh perspectives – creating a strong foundation for evolving how we support and enable the business. Your qualifications

Your development 

 

Within 3 months, you’ll:   

 

  • Be onboarded and introduced to all of your main tasks 

  • Gain understanding of internal processes and activities 

  • Support few of office activities sin fall and take part in Christmas presents coordination 

   

Within 6-12 months, you’ll: 

   

  • Support onboarding into offices space 

  • Understand full annual activates calendar 

  • Can be the go-to-person for all office facilities related questions
