The role

Reporting to the Head of Data ANZ, you'll lead the regional Data Business Analysis function while remaining actively involved in analysis activities across key strategic initiatives. The role combines approximately 20-30% team leadership with 70-80% hands-on data business analysis.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading, coaching and developing a team of Data Business Analysts.
• Establishing and improving data business analysis standards, methods, templates and tools.
• Driving quality and consistency across analysis practices.
• Facilitating complex workshops and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Eliciting, analysing and documenting business, functional and data requirements.
• Translating business needs into actionable requirements, user stories and solutions.
• Supporting the successful delivery of data products and strategic initiatives.
• Partnering with business leaders, technology teams and global stakeholders to drive data-led decision making.

About you

You'll be an experienced Business Analysis leader with a strong background delivering data and analytics initiatives in complex environments. We're looking for someone with:

• 10+ years’ experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst within Data, Analytics or Technology environments.
• Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and capability development of Business Analysts..
• A strong track record delivering analysis across large, complex programs and projects.
• Experience establishing and improving Data Business Analysis practices, frameworks and standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including engagement with senior leaders.
• Experience working across Agile, Product and Project delivery environments.
• Strong data domain knowledge and experience working on data-centric projects and platforms.
