Win an all-expenses paid trip to SCC 2026

The Specsavers Clinical Conference (SCC) is a leading two-day event advancing eye health across Australia and New Zealand. The program, running 12-13 September, 2026 features expert-led clinical education, valuable networking opportunities, and a strong professional community.

To support the next generation of optometrists, Specsavers is offering one student from each partner university the chance to attend SCC 2026 on the Gold Coast, as our guest!

The prize includes return flights, accommodation, meals, and full conference access.

Eligible universities are: Flinders University, Queensland University of Technology, University of Auckland, University of Melbourne, University of New South Wales, University of Canberra, and the University of Western Australia.

Applicants must have accepted an offer of employment with Specsavers to be eligible.

Terms & Conditions

Specsavers Clinical Conference Competition runs from 12.01am July 1, 2026 until 11.59pm July 31, 2026. Entry is open to Final year Optometry Students from Flinders University, Queensland University of Technology, University of Auckland, University of Melbourne, University of New South Wales, University of Canberra, and the University of Western Australia that have accepted offers of employment from Specsavers by 31st July 2026. Limit of one entry per student. The prize pool consists of 7 all-expenses paid tickets to the 2026 SCC. Each prize includes return flights (if required), accommodation, dinner and a ticket to the 2026 SCC for the student. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. One winner will be selected from each university. The winners will be determined by Specsavers and each entry will be judged on its merit. The winners will be announced on the join.specsavers.com/au website on August 1, 2026 and contacted via phone and email.
