Hi, I'm Raj! I have spent more than 30 years in the optical industry, beginning my career as an optometrist and have worked in various roles across the industry, before joining the Specsavers Support Office in 2008.

As Director of Professional Recruitment, I lead the teams responsible for Graduate Recruitment and Development, Pathway and Partner Recruitment, and Specsavers Recruitment Services. Together, we focus on attracting, developing and supporting talented optometrists and retail professionals across the Specsavers network.

Alongside my support office role, I’m also a Specsavers partner at our Forest Hill store. This gives me firsthand insight into the opportunities and challenges of building strong optics and retail teams. I help people discover meaningful career opportunities and, together with my team, foster a strong talent pipeline that enables our stores and partners to deliver exceptional care to customers and patients across Australia and New Zealand.
