The role & team

We're looking for a commercially minded and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join our high-performing Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong finance professional who enjoys solving complex accounting challenges, delivering accurate financial outcomes, and building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager and working within the Support Office Finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of monthly financial results.

You will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of profit and loss and balance sheet reporting, including reconciliations, month-end processes, and financial analysis. The role also supports management and statutory reporting requirements, group consolidations, external audits, and technical accounting matters, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards while providing valuable insights to support business decision-making.

The skills we are looking for

  • CA or CPA qualified, with proven experience in financial reporting, statutory reporting, and consolidations
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, with the ability to interpret, analyse, and apply accounting standards to complex business scenarios
  • Experience with lease accounting (IFRS 16) is highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience preparing for and partnering with external auditors
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accuracy while managing competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a natural curiosity to investigate and resolve anomalies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business
  • Experience working within a finance transformation, systems implementation, or change environment will be highly regarded
