What is a customer service apprenticeship?

Are you a driven and motivated people-person? Feel like you’ve got what it takes to excel in customer service? For our customer service apprenticeships, we need friendly, enthusiastic people who’ll be helping our customers either over the phone or face to face. You’ll spend 12 months honing your customer service skills, and at the end, you’ll be a fully-fledged Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner.

What’s on offer and what will I gain?

As a customer service apprentice, you’ll earn a monthly salary as you learn the ropes of customer service. You’ll receive comprehensive and structured training from the experienced store team and with the support of your apprentice coach.You’ll work for an exciting, fast paced and innovative company that changes lives through quality, affordable care, along with a dedicated and helpful team.

Day in the life of a customer service apprentice

No one day will look like another, but you can expect to give a warm welcome and great advice to all our customers. As an apprentice, you’ll spend some time learning the ropes, but you’ll get stuck in when you’re ready. On day 1 of your apprenticeship, you might focus on talking to customers and getting to know the team. Then as your training progresses, you’ll learn how to provide the best service to our customers, you may have to deal with some challenging customers, but you’ll be supported all the way until you feel confident.

You may be the first point of contact for our customers, and your interactions may range from phone calls, to face to face with written communication too.

Our customer service apprenticeship

You’ll undertake structured training and our approach to customer service. Your on-the-job training will sit alongside structured learning and support from your team and the Apprenticeship Coach. We know that every apprentice is different, and our training will be flexible to meet your needs. When you complete the programme, you’ll be a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner.
