It really depends on both the country you live in now and the country you’re applying to. For some countries, you’ll need to take a course or an exam to convert your existing qualification to the relevant level for entry. All countries have a defined route for accreditation, and this can be found on the internet. If in doubt drop us a message.
If you have a good idea of where you might move to, we suggest you do a bit of research about things like the cost of living, types of accommodation, the travel and traffic, what healthcare is available and if you have a family, you could start looking at schools. The more you know, the more we can help you through the application process and beyond.
Each country has their own entry requirements. Some countries offer a work permit, and some need a visa for you to work and live. Our support team can help you to work out what you might need to do to enter the country you’re considering.
In all cases as part of your application to practice you will be required to demonstrate a good knowledge of the local language. You can’t get by in Finland with only knowing ‘Hei’ for example (That’s hello for English speakers). It’s worth considering if you need to spend time learning the language to a higher level before you apply. Our support team can advise you further on any language skills or certificates you may need.
