Many of our Specsavers stores have a busy in-store laboratory where a talented team of lab technicians produce glasses to the highest possible standards. Our lab technicians are very much part of the Specsavers store team and an integral part of the overall customer experience.

We believe in providing our lab technician teams with the best possible equipment and latest technology. You will be using the latest computer-controlled equipment, and it’s with the best technology you can truly excel in your role and produce your best work – cutting lenses and fitting them into frames – to the highest quality standards. It’s all about providing an excellent service – one day you could be repairing spectacles, the next, you could be glazing and tinting single-vision lenses.
Training tailored to you
For this role, we accept applications from individuals both with or without experience in the field. Most importantly, we will be looking for someone who’s technically minded with a fantastic eye for detail. You’ll be learning all the time and building your knowledge with the help of your expert colleagues. It also offers many opportunities for career development and, to keep you up to date with latest technical advances, ongoing training.
