Clinical Performance Associate South Wales

services. This 15-month fixed-term development role is designed to prepare you for a future as a Clinical Performance Consultant, providing you with the guidance, training, and experience needed to excel.

As a Clinical Performance Associate, Covering the South Wales area, you’ll develop through practical experience and structured learning, gaining commercial and business knowledge, as well as engagement and influencing skills. You’ll work alongside Clinical Performance Consultants and Regional Support Teams to drive clinical performance

and support store growth through key performance indicators.

Your role will involve implementing local strategies to optimise access to clinical care, ensuring patients receive the best advice and visual solutions. Building relationships with the Retail Support Team, improve clinical productivity, and create a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, you will support forums and engagement sessions, helping optometrists develop and react to patient feedback.

You’ll need a degree in Optometry, as well as further qualifications, such as Professional Certificates and Independent Prescribing (or working towards Independent Prescribing) and a current GOC/CORU registration.

Experience in optical leadership such as practice manager or lead optometrist, experience in training others, commercial acumen, as well as exceptional customer service skills are all essential.

You should be able to work autonomously, communicate effectively, and demonstrate strong influencing and organisational skills.
