Data Product Owner

We’re looking for a Data Product Owner to take end‑to‑end ownership of critical data products that underpin how Specsavers serves customers and colleagues around the world.

At the heart of our mission to change lives through better sight and hearing, you’ll be accountable for the value, quality and outcomes of your data products — from discovery through delivery and into live operation. Working in close partnership with a Data Product Manager, you’ll translate strategic objectives into clear priorities, own the backlog, and make the day‑to‑day decisions that ensure we deliver the right data, in the right way, at the right time.

As the single point of accountability for your data domain or workstream, you’ll work closely with delivery teams to clarify scope, resolve trade‑offs, manage risks, and ensure that every increment delivers meaningful business value — not just technical outputs. You’ll represent your data product in planning and governance forums, lead prioritisation conversations with senior stakeholders, and balance value, risk, quality and delivery pace.

You’ll bring strong experience owning products or data domains in complex environments, with a solid grounding in data quality, governance, modelling and architecture, and a deep understanding of agile delivery and backlog management. You’re comfortable working hands‑on with engineers, analysts and delivery managers, while also influencing senior business stakeholders and navigating competing priorities.
