About The Area

Morpeth is located towards the Southern end of Northumberland, approximately 15 miles North of Newcastle Upon Tyne and 18 miles South of Alnwick. There are plenty of things to do in Morpeth, take a trip to the Sanderson Arcade which is a beautifully created shopping area that is definitely worth a mention as an attraction, not just a place to shop. Carlisle Park is a beautiful public open space and has tennis courts, children’s play areas, rowing boats and a skate park. Just outside of Morpeth is the Whitehouse Farm Centre, a 40 acre farm with a large range of exciting  animals, they have been welcoming and educating visitors for years. There are walks that take you through woodland and along the river banks, excellent golf facilities and Farmers markets.
