Position: Dispensing Optician Manager

Salary: Basic salary of £34,000 (£39,000 OTE (minumum guranteed bonus))

Hours: Full time inc. weekend work

Experience: A GOC/ABDO registered Dispensing Optician

Lead with confidence at Specsavers Newbury, Hectors Way. As our Dispensing Optician Manager, you’ll take charge of a close-knit, dedicated team in a modern store located within Sainsbury’s. This is a hands-on leadership role where your clinical expertise and people skills will shine, ensuring exceptional eye care and customer service for our local community.

Find out more 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a few essentials. First, you must be a fully qualified Dispensing Optician with a BSc (Hons) in Ophthalmic Dispensing and registered with the GOC. Strong leadership skills are key, as you’ll be guiding a small, dedicated team. You’ll also need excellent communication and listening abilities, a passion for delivering outstanding customer care, and the confidence to manage both clinical and operational aspects of the store.
