Head of PMO Operations

As the Head of PMO Operations, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our IT projects are managed effectively, providing data-driven insights that enable strategic decision-making.

You'll lead a team of PMO professionals, including Programme Office Leads, PMO Analysts, and Planning Managers. Your responsibilities will include creating integrated macro plans, reports, and delivery performance insights. You'll work closely with IT resource and delivery leaders to implement and maintain resource forecasting capabilities, ensuring real-time visibility and data-driven insights into resource utilisation. Your role will involve defining and deploying PMO capabilities, partnering with Heads of Delivery to ensure adherence to governance tools and processes, and managing resource-related risks and dependencies.

We're seeking a proven leader with extensive experience in PMO management, resource planning, and delivery operations within a technical IT environment. You should have a track record of working in large, complex organisations with diverse project portfolios. Expertise in portfolio management, workforce planning systems, and governance frameworks is essential. Familiarity with agile, hybrid, and waterfall methodologies will be advantageous.
