The role

t Specsavers, we’re passionate about creating environments where people can thrive, and we know that health and safety plays a vital role in that. We’re looking for a Health & Safety Co-Ordinator who is passionate about building a strong safety culture, supporting colleagues, and helping to create workplaces where wellbeing comes first. If you enjoy making a visible difference and influencing positive behaviours, this could be the perfect opportunity to join a team committed to health and safety excellence.

In this varied role, you’ll support the planning, implementation and ongoing development of health and safety practices across the business. From managing incidents and root cause investigations to coordinating statutory inspections, reviewing risk assessments, overseeing permits to work and arranging essential training, you’ll be at the centre of ensuring standards remain high. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across different departments, helping to identify improvements, monitor controls and drive best practice across multiple sites.

You’ll be a confident communicator who can build relationships at all levels, influence stakeholders, support change and collaborate across teams. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to make practical, balanced decisions while maintaining compliance and keeping colleague safety at the heart of everything you do.

In return, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your career in a business that genuinely values its people, encourages inclusion and empowers colleagues to make a difference. If you’re organised, proactive and motivated by creating safer, healthier workplaces while helping others succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
