NHS Audit & Compliance Manager 12 month FTC (UK)

ContractTypeAndDuration

Full Time, Fixed Term Contract

The role

Are you someone who blends expertise with approachability, and who genuinely enjoys helping others get things right? Then you might be the NHS Audit & Compliance Manager we’re looking for.

In this role, you’ll be a trusted partner to our stores, offering guidance, support and practical know‑how, to help them navigate the world of NHS compliance with confidence. You’ll play a key part in training store teams and directors, making a complex area feel accessible, and ensuring we maintain high standards that protect both our partners and our brand.

Day to day, you’ll be out and about across our retail and domiciliary estate in the North of the UK, carrying out NHS audits in line with agreed procedures. You’ll dig into data to understand what’s working, where risks might be hiding, and how we can keep improving. When you spot something that needs attention, you’ll share your findings clearly and constructively, providing detailed action plans that help stores strengthen their processes and maximise their profitability.

You’ll get to know the individual needs of each store, offering tailored coaching and guidance, while keeping a close eye on compliance levels through our standard framework. You’ll also regularly share your insights with the NHS Audit & Compliance Team Manager, helping promote shared learning across the group. When required, you’ll escalate issues to Professional Services, making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Keeping yourself up to date will be second nature – whether it’s changes in policies, regional interpretations across the UK and Ireland, or new tools that support best practice. You’ll champion NHS compliance across our business, contribute to workshops and user groups, and support key projects such as contract applications, eGOS and BEP systems, and NHS debtor processes. Along the way, you’ll provide guidance to administrators, support new and relocating stores, and offer your expertise wherever it can make a difference.

If you’re analytical, proactive, excel‑savvy, and bring strong communication skills alongside knowledge of optics, GOS, GOC codes and NHS processes – we’d love to hear from you.

Living in the North of the UK is preferrable due to travel within the patch.
