Our store

Located in the heart of Tenterden High Street, Specsavers Tenterden benefits from a welcoming, community‑focused environment set within one of Kent’s most attractive market towns. The High Street itself is known for its tree‑lined avenues, historic architecture, and a vibrant mix of independent shops, cafés and restaurants, all of which contribute to Tenterden’s reputation as the “Jewel of the Weald.”

Transport access is straightforward and practical. The High Street is well‑served by local bus routes connecting Tenterden to surrounding villages and nearby towns. For those travelling by car, several public car parks are all within short walking distance and offer a range of parking options throughout the day.

Tenterden’s surrounding area adds to its appeal: positioned on the edge of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the town is surrounded by rolling countryside, historic buildings, and cultural attractions, including the famous Kent & East Sussex Railway. With its blend of heritage, community warmth, and modern convenience, the location offers an attractive and accessible setting for both customers and colleagues.

The Specsavers Tenterden team is a small, close‑knit group who pride themselves on creating a genuinely family‑orientated working environment.
