If you’re a proactive people person ready to be the friendly face our stores needs, it sounds like you’d be a great fit here. If you have current or previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this Optical Assistant role could be perfect for you.  

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Our Store

Located on the pedestrianised precinct in Bathgate, West Lothian, there is a free car park behind the store and a train station a short 5 minute walk away, making this ideal for commuting.

Our welcoming Bathgate store is a wonderful place to work, with all the equipment you need to ensure you can do your job to the best of your abilities. • Full time: 5 days per week which will include working regular Saturdays
• Part-time hours can be considered too - minimum of 3 days per week with the requirement to work regular Saturdays
• Salary: £25,174 pro rata
