Optical Assistant

Experienced Optical Assistant – Specsavers Bradford Broadway 
Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week  
Salary: Up to £26,000 (depending on experience)

If you’ve previously worked as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant and can confidently dispense across all lens types, we’d love to welcome you to Specsavers Bradford Broadway. 

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll combine your customer service expertise with your passion for optics to deliver a brilliant experience for every customer. You’ll support daily store operations, help customers find the right products, and ensure they leave feeling cared for and confident in their eye health.

What We’re Looking For 

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: 

• Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant 

• Ability to dispense across all levels 

• A passion for exceptional customer service 

• Strong teamwork and great initiative 

• Confidence using IT systems 

• Excellent communication and listening skills 

• Openness to feedback and a willingness to learn 

• A positive, proactive attitude 

Desirable Experience 

• Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment 

• Previous work in optics 

• Basic understanding of optical terminology
