Optical Assistant

So, you’re a proactive people person ready to be the friendly face our stores need? Sounds like you’d be a great fit here. So, if you’ve had previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this Optical Assistant role could be perfect for you.  

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Located in the heart of Chatham, we are a vibrant and welcoming store offering a full range of optical and audiology services. We are easily accessible by public transport, with frequent bus services stopping nearby and Chatham railway station just a short walk away. The store benefits from high footfall and a diverse customer base. Whether you're commuting from nearby Rochester, Gillingham, or further afield, getting to work is simple and convenient.

What we’re looking for? 

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as an Optical Assistant. These include:  

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment 
• Experience in optics business 
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology
