Optical Assistant

So, you’re a proactive people person ready to be the friendly face our stores need? Sounds like you’d be a great fit here. So, if you’ve had previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant, this Optical Assistant role could be perfect for you.  

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Cranleigh is well-connected, with regular bus services to Guildford and Horsham, and easy access by car from surrounding villages. There’s convenient parking nearby, including Village Way and Stocklund Square car parks, both just a short walk from the store. Outside of work, you’ll enjoy cosy cafés, independent shops, and a thriving Arts Centre, plus green spaces like Knowle Park and the Downs Link for walking and cycling. What we’re looking for? 

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as an Optical Assistant. These include:  

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment 
• Experience in optics business 
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology
