At Specsavers Killingworth, we’re looking for an Experienced Optical Assistant to join our committed and friendly team. If you’ve previously worked as an Optical Assistant, Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant and are confident dispensing across all levels, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional store environment. Using your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services, you’ll support our customers through their optical journey while working closely with a supportive and ambitious team.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Minimum 1 year’s previous optical experience as an Optical Assistant, Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant

• Confidence dispensing at all levels

• A passion for delivering excellent customer service

• Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude

• Confidence using IT systems

• Excellent communication and listening skills

• A willingness to step out of your comfort zone and develop new skills

• Openness to feedback and ongoing development, supported by a team that is genuinely passionate about employee growth and progression
