You’ll work with the store team to deliver high-standard clinical care and customer service to meet both patient needs and business objectives. And of course, you’ll be a key part in creating a warm and friendly environment for our customers and our team.

Specsavers in Bridgend is looking for an ambitious and talented Optometrist to join their thriving store. We are a community-focused store dedicated to ensuring that every one of our customers receives an excellent patient experience. We are seeking an Optometrist ready to use their passion and knowledge to help us build on our ever-growing and loyal customer base. In October 2023, a new contract for the delivery of eye care services in the community came into force in Wales - Wales General Opthalmic Services (WGOS). Under the new regulataions, optometrirsts will be able to fully utilse their professional higher accreditations when delivering eye care at primary level.

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need to be registered as a member of the General Optical Council (keeping this up to date).
