The role

Are you an experienced Optometrist ready to help shape a brand-new Specsavers store from the very beginning?

If your answer is yes, you could play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming environment for our customers and an outstanding place to work for our industry-leading team.

Our brand-new Cockermouth store is due to open and will feature 3 test rooms, creating an exciting opportunity for you to become an integral part of the team and help establish the culture, patient experience and success of the store from day one. We are ideally looking for our new Optometrist to join the team in December/January.

Why Cockermouth?

Nestled on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Cockermouth is a beautiful market town with plenty to offer both inside and outside of work.

With its independent shops, cafés, restaurants and historic charm, Cockermouth has a lovely community feel, while its location gives you easy access to some of the UK's most spectacular countryside. Keswick, the Western Fells and the Cumbrian coast are all within easy reach, making it a fantastic location for anyone who enjoys getting outdoors, exploring new places or simply enjoying a great quality of life.

Whether you're already local or considering relocating to the area, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a brand-new store in one of the UK's most beautiful regions.
