Optometrist

Position: Optometrist – experienced and Newly Qualified would be considered
Location: Wellington, Shropshire
Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate + 10k welcome bonus (Terms apply)

Working hours: Flexible working patterns are available - Full time - 37.5 hours per week - or part time hours would be considered.  

Experience level: You must be a GOC registered Optometrist

Specsavers in Wellington are looking for an ambitious Optometrist, experienced or Newly Qualified to join their team on a Full Time / Part Time or Fixed Term basis. Our store is equipped with very latest clinical technology, which will allow are team to improve patient outcomes. We have four test rooms, one short form and 3 long form, all with phoropters and trial frames. We also have a fifth multi-use test room/ audiology room and on-site lab. All patient interaction is on the ground floor with staff facilities upstairs. For staff there is free onsite private parking.

We invest in keeping our store a bright, vibrant atmosphere with the latest technology, including environmentally friendly lab equipment, new computers, screens, iPads, fundus camera and OCT.

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, we are searching for someone who shares our store’s ethos. Someone who wants to grow, develop, and offer exceptional customer care along the way. We want a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, that isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach and who is keen to get involved and build rapport with the rest of the team. In summary, we’re looking for a skilled resident Optometrist to join us, be part of the team and assist in driving our practice forward.
