About the store  
Specsavers Cosham is a thriving store, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the partners and team.  As the new incoming Optometry Partner, you will be joining two experienced retail partners that are committed to the success and growth of the business.  In place you will find a experienced and long-standing team, with 3 resident optometrists and a further 13 across the retail team.  As the new incoming partner there is a chance to increase the store’s already high operating profit, currently sitting at 16%. Cosham is open 7 days a week, with capacity for additional testing.

Location  
Cosham is a thriving market town, located close to the city of Portsmouth. It has excellent transport links in and around the town, with access to Southampton airport in less than an hour. The town is well served by Cosham Railway station, and offers frequent services to Bristol, Cardiff, Southampton and London.  The Queen Alexandra Hospital is one of the major healthcare facilities in the region, providing opportunity for supporting the local community.

Requirements of the role 
Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion, and willingness to maintain the customer-focussed culture and the high standards of this store, you will be willing to work hard to build a strong relationship with the existing partner, plus the wider group.  As the new Optometry Partner, you’ll be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll be able to build a rapport with the existing team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and possess an ability to build strong relationships within the local community. You will be hands on, motivated and commercially aware to make the right choices every day.
