Full Time, Permanent

The role

Are you ready to build your payroll career in a role where accuracy, service and teamwork really matter?

As a Payroll Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our colleagues and store partners are paid accurately and on time, while delivering a consistently high standard of customer service. Acting as a central point of contact for payroll queries, you’ll support retail stores, store partners and support office teams with a wide range of payroll-related requests.

Working as part of the Payroll Services team, you’ll manage day-to-day payroll administration, responding to queries received via phone, email, internal systems and the ServiceNow portal. You’ll ensure queries are handled professionally, accurately and in line with agreed Service Level Agreements, helping to maintain trust and confidence in our payroll service.

You’ll process payroll changes such as starters, leavers, salary adjustments, court orders, student loans and P45s, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal payroll policies. The role also involves administering statutory and family-friendly payments, including maternity, paternity, adoption, shared parental leave and sickness absence, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Working closely with Payroll Analytics, People Services, Pensions and other internal teams, you’ll monitor and resolve payroll alerts and errors within SuccessFactors. You’ll also calculate overpayments and support recovery activity in line with policy, while maintaining clear audit trails and ensuring payroll data is handled confidentially and in compliance with data protection legislation.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be confident working to deadlines, able to adapt to changing workloads, and committed to delivering a high standard of service. Strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and clear communication are essential for success in this role.

If you’re experienced in payroll administration, enjoy problem-solving, and take pride in delivering accurate work that makes a real difference to colleagues across the business, this could be a great next step for you.
