Position: Senior Dispensing Optician
Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester
Salary: Base salary upto £30,000 + High reward potential bonus scheme 
Working Hours: Full or Part-time considered 
Experience Level: Must be a registered Dispensing Optician and must have a GOC number.

Specsavers in Oldham, are looking for a new Senior Dispensing Optician. On the back of substantial and on-going growth, we’re seeking an ambitious Dispensing Optician to join our dynamic team at Specsavers in Oldham. Be part of our continued success at one of the leading opticians in this fantastic area. This role will involve assiting with the day to day running of the store and training of colleagues, so if you are looking for a step up from being a DO, this is a great stepping stone to do so with great progression opportunities to become a lead or develop into a partner yourself. It will involve less of a focus on pure dispensing and more of an element of supervising the team to drive performance and results for the store.

You’ll need to be a qualified and GOC registered Dispensing Optician with the drive, passion and the willingness to build upon our customer-focused culture. You’ll need to demonstrate good attention to detail along with a passion for the community. Teamwork also forms a big part of our culture, so the ability to work well with others is essential.

Our location
We are nestled amid the Pennines and between the rivers Irk and Medlock, southeast of Rochdale and 6.9 miles northeast of Manchester.  Oldham Town Centre is less than 10 minutes from both the M60 (junction 22) and M62 (junction 20) and Oldham’s Metrolink tram extension connects to the borough to Rochdale, Central Manchester and beyond to East Didsbury.  Buses run from Manchester to Oldham every 10 minutes throughout the day.
