Experience level: Must have a minimum of two years store management experience. 

Main Duties to include:

  • Manage the overall performance of the team to achieve financial targets considering the retail calendar year.
  • Drive the store key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Manage Health and Safety effectively and ensure the store remains compliant.
  • Ensure your own and your teams’ personal development is actively undertaken and in line with the business objectives.
  • Provide assistance and supervision in the Lab, in the absence of the Lab Manager & Assistant Manager
  • Mentor and coach subordinates in all aspects of daily store operations, make referrals to managers to highlight high performance and under performance amongst all diagnostic staff.
  • Deliver complex dispensing and advanced problem solving.
  • Dispense complex prescriptions including ability to demonstrate how to calculate edge thickness for a variety of frames and lenses, including plus and minus prescriptions and oblique cyls and lenticular lenses.
