Our store  

The Blackwood Specsavers store is a busy and customer-focused optical and audiology environment, located in the heart of Blackwood town centre on the High Street. The store is dedicated to delivering exceptional eye and hearing care services to the local community, offering a welcoming and professional experience for every customer. Colleagues work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail setting to provide outstanding customer service, support commercial performance, and maintain the highest standards of clinical care and operational excellence. The store benefits from excellent accessibility, with Blackwood Bus Station just a short walk away and rail links available from nearby Pengam, Hengoed and Gilfach Fargoed stations, making it easily accessible for both customers and colleagues commuting from the surrounding areas.

The Blackwood Specsavers team is made up of passionate, supportive and customer-focused colleagues who work together to deliver exceptional care and service. Bringing together expertise across optics, audiology and retail, the team fosters a collaborative and inclusive culture where colleagues are encouraged to develop their skills, share knowledge and support one another to achieve both individual and store goals. • Welcoming customers into store 
• Booking in eye tests 
• Pre-screening patients 
• Providing style advice 
• Measuring frames 
• Taking phone call
