Our Store
Located in the heart of Wrexham town centre, the Specsavers store is a busy and customer-focused environment dedicated to delivering outstanding optical and audiology services to the local community. As a large, well-established store with 9 test rooms, it offers a diverse and fast-paced setting supported by advanced clinical technology and a highly skilled team of professionals. Colleagues are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and helping customers find the right solutions for their vision and hearing needs.. Conveniently situated within easy reach of Wrexham General and Wrexham Central railway stations, as well as a wide range of local bus routes, the store benefits from excellent public transport links, making it easily accessible. With a strong focus on teamwork, customer service and commercial performance, the Wrexham store offers a fast-paced and rewarding workplace where colleagues are supported in their development and encouraged to contribute to the continued success of the business.
Our Team
The Wrexham store is home to a large and experienced team of 43 colleagues, creating a vibrant, supportive and collaborative working environment. The team includes optical and audiology professionals, dispensing staff, customer service colleagues and managers who work closely together to deliver an exceptional experience for every customer. Despite its size, the store maintains a welcoming and inclusive culture where teamwork, knowledge-sharing and colleague support are highly valued. Team members are encouraged to celebrate successes together, support one another and play an active role in delivering excellent customer and patient care.
Training & Development
The Store Directors are passionate about investing in their people and are committed to providing colleagues with opportunities to gain experience across all areas of the business, including optics, audiology and the on-site lab. All colleagues are offered the opportunity to complete further training, professional development programmes and recognised certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. This commitment to continuous learning helps colleagues build rewarding long-term careers, supported by ongoing coaching and development to help them reach their full potential.
What’s on Offer?

- £8.00 - £12.71 per hour
- Performance-based bonus scheme available following successful completion of 3 months' service
- Full Time - 37.5 hours per week, to include working a weekend day
- We will auto-enroll you into the pension scheme with an employer contribution when you contribute too
