What is the Specsavers Contact Centre?

The contact centre is responsible for handling over 1.4 million customer & partner interactions every year. We have a team of over 100 colleagues to support these interactions. The contact centre at Specsavers has three avenues that our customers and stores can contact us on, phone which is our predominate avenue, emails and live chat.

Flexible working with us

After passing your probationary period, you’ll be able to adopt a hybrid working pattern with us at the Contact Centre. This will take the form of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home allowing more flexibility with your working pattern to suit your needs.

We’ll do our best to tailor your working hours to your commitments outside of work whether that’s looking after little ones or spending time to look after yourself.

Aspiring Managers Programme

The programme has been designed to provide a structured calendar of events and skill development sessions to help ready colleagues that have a passion and desire to develop into a role with line management responsibilities. During 2021/22, 75% of the delegates on the programme secured role changes or promotions within the business, and the programme has helped to raise their personal profile in addition to developing desired skills and knowledge for the future.

The programme utilises a blend of learning activities and styles; combining our own internal Specsavers L&D training and development interventions, with sessions which encourage reflection and a mixture of individual/cohort led activities that complement their learning.
