Are you passionate about driving operational excellence, improving business performance, and enabling retail teams to deliver outstanding results? Then we might have just the job for you at Specsavers.

Join Specsavers as our new Senior Store Operations & Retail Delivery Manager and play a key role in shaping operational performance, supporting retail transformation initiatives, and driving sustainable growth across Northern Europe.

Your role

As our Senior Store Operations & Retail Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of strategic initiatives, operational plans, and performance improvement programmes across our Northern Europe retail business.

Working closely with the Director of Stores, Heads of Stores, Business Performance Managers, and Regional Relationship Managers, you will help create the conditions for stores to improve profitability, strengthen operational excellence, and deliver outstanding customer experiences.

You will act as a key link between regional field teams, support functions, and business leaders, ensuring that the right tools, frameworks, and initiatives are in place to support long-term business success. You are a strong collaborator who thrives in complex environments, enjoys working across functions, and is motivated by helping others achieve measurable business results.

Finally, you are ready an everyday where you combine working from home with being at the Northern European Support Office in Copenhagen along with frequent visits to the countries in the region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving business improvement and performance programmes across multiple markets.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Supporting strategic planning and execution together with regional and country stakeholders.
  • Ensuring retail tools, processes, and initiatives are effectively implemented and continuously improved.
  • Building strong partnerships across functions to deliver sustainable business outcomes.

Your new team

You'll join the Northern Europe Store Operations function and work closely with senior retail leaders, business performance specialists, regional relationship managers, and a broad range of support functions.

The team plays an important role in supporting our store network, helping country teams deliver sustainable growth, operational excellence, and outstanding customer experiences.

As part of an international and highly collaborative environment, you'll contribute to projects and initiatives that directly influence business performance across multiple markets.

What are we looking for?

We are preferably looking for a candidate with the following competencies:

  • Strong experience in retail operations, business performance, or operational excellence.
  • Experience from a similar role or i.e. a Regional Relationship Manager role
  • Commercial and financial acumen, including business planning and performance analysis.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and driving measurable business improvements.
  • Working with operating and supporting teams individually and remotely
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • A data-driven and analytical approach to solving business challenges.

It would be an advantage if you have:

  • Leadership experience working in franchise, partnership, or multi-site retail environments.
  • Experience across multiple markets or countries.
  • Knowledge of business transformation, change management, or performance improvement programmes.
  • Experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools.

As a person, we believe that you are:

  • Commercially minded and focused on creating results.
  • A strong collaborator who builds trust and alignment across teams.
  • Structured, proactive, and comfortable managing complexity.
  • An engaging communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels.
