At Specsavers, we’re dedicated to making eye and hearing care accessible to all. As pioneers and a global leader in innovative technologies, we help people optimise their vision and hearing. We foster your expertise, welcome you into a supportive family, and propel your growth. Grounded in our collaboration, curiosity, courage, and compassion values, we strive to challenge the status quo and invite you to team up with us.

For our Dutch Support Office in Maarssen, we are currently looking to recruit a Clinical Performance Consultant Audiology to join our Professional Advancement team.

Your role

As a Clinical Performance Consultant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our audiology professionals across the southern part of the Netherlands to strengthen both their clinical and commercial performance. You’ll ensure stores meet our professional quality standards and help teams grow through coaching, guidance, and quality checks. This is a great opportunity for an audiologist ready to take the next step—whether or not you have previous experience in a consultant role.

You’ll mainly work from home or in the field, with around one day a week at our office in Maarssen.

Your role will include the following:

  • Work closely with the retail team to define which stores need support and coaching

  • Conduct quality audits in stores and follow up with audiologists as needed

  • Use clinical KPIs to proactively identify and support areas of improvement

  • Be an expert in the customer journey, helping audiologists identify blockers and recommend solutions

  • Take part in projects that support professional development and business growth

Your new team

Joining the Professional Advancement team means becoming part of an ambitious, experienced group of audiology experts. You’ll work on a variety of tasks that support our stores and professionals – no two days are the same. We’re a close-knit team that values collaboration, continuous learning, and making a positive impact.

As part of Specsavers, you’ll be joining a dynamic, fast-growing business where change is constant and ambition is high. We’re passionate about delivering the best in everything we do – from eye and hearing care to how we support and develop our people.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across different functions and regions, all committed to going the extra mile for our customers and one another.

We also offer a range of benefits designed to support your growth and wellbeing, including:

  • A smart, confident, and supportive team with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and nationalities

  • A flexible working environment, with occasional travel across Europe when required

  • Great training and development opportunities in a fast-paced, collaborative setting

  • The chance to contribute to business improvements across both our stores and support offices

  • A friendly culture and plenty of Specsavers traditions that make work enjoyable

  • A competitive salary that reflects your experience, plus a pension scheme and additional staff benefits

  • The opportunity to be part of a business making a real difference in the future of eye and hearing care

Your qualifications

To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be passionate about developing others, confident in your expertise, and ready to take initiative. While previous consultancy experience is a plus, it’s not essential—we welcome applications from audiologists with a few years of store experience who are ready for something new.

We’re looking for someone who can bring:

  • A StAr certification and several years of experience as an audicien

  • A natural ability to coach and communicate effectively with different audiences

  • A confident understanding of KPIs and how to turn them into practical store actions

  • A collaborative mindset and experience working cross-functionally

  • Fluency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written

Your development

Within 3 months, you’ll:

  • Be onboarded and have met a lot of your new colleagues, as well as our partners and audiciens in store

  • Gain understanding of what it means working at Specsavers

  • Support/work on daily business in our stores, coaching and working with audiciens

Within 6-12 months, you:

  • Run your own region in the South part of the Netherlands

  • Understand how our business works, and what our priorities are

  • Can be the go-to-person for our audiciens and partners when talking about everything clinical audiology

  • Deliver your first successes

Further development:

  • We have a strong focus on your personal development plan to make sure that your competencies and skills continue to be best in class

  • You can choose a career path within Specsavers you perceive as your personal journey.

  • You can grow professionally in an organisation that recognises your skills and personality.
