The role

The Specsavers Ashford Team are growing again!  Specsavers is a household name and a Highstreet staple, and you could be part of the team.  

Our audiology practitioners are key to making sure our customers are provided with the best service along their journey with us. You must be commercially astute as building rapport with customers is key to the success of our business as well as understanding the sales and customer service focus required for the position.  You will be providing a range of clinical activities for both NHS and private services. In this role, you’ll be supported by a HAD (Hearing Aid Dispenser), and work with them to keep building your skills and complete your training. We help change lives through better sight and hearing, so why wouldn’t you want to get involved? 

Our store and our team

The store in Ashford and the hub in Bybrook are accredited as a Great Place to Work, the team consist of with an Audiologist, 2 Hearing Aid Dispensers and a lovely Receptionist, so has, very much a family feel to it.  Not only that but the store that boasts a modern staff room, a chill area and an in-house training facility.

Salary / rate of pay: £12.41 per hour 

Monday to Saturday: 8.45am to 5.30pm - you will work 5 days out of 7 with alternative Saturdays

What we’re looking for? 

  • Experience working in an audiology or hearcare setting
  • Fluency in use of patient management systems (e.g. Socrates/Auditdata/Sycle) 
  • Good written and verbal English skills / good communication 
  • Keen interest in self-development 
  • Interested in furthering your clinical skills
