Call Centre Assistant

As a Call Centre Assistant, you don’t need to have previous optics experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding experience for our customers each and every time.

This role will primarily involve receiving a high volume of incoming calls and making outbound calls and booking appointments for our customers. We are looking for someone who has an excellent telephone manner and is confident dealing with people. There will be some admin duties required in this role too.

Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and have experience working in a call centre type environment. This is a busy and fast-paced role, so we are looking for someone who can work at pace and has excellent time management and organisational skills.

You’ll be surrounded and supported by a team bringing care to the homes of the people who can’t come into our stores.

Essentially, you’ll be making a real difference here.

Our Home Visits office is in Brentwood, Essex.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Previous call centre experience
• Excellent telephone-based customer service skills
• Great organisational skills and attention to detail
• A friendly, confident and professional approach when speaking with customers
• Optical experience would be advantageous, but isn’t essential

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who enjoys helping people, loves being organised and takes pride in providing great customer service.
