The role

As a Clinical Co-ordinator at Specsavers, you’ll be a key part of our Audiology business. You’ll make sure all administration and clinic scheduling is completed in the most effective, efficient way possible, and you’ll always put the customers first.

What we’re looking for? 

Some of the key tasks are as follows -

  • Clinical diary management + structure
  • Triaging all booked appointments via PVQ's / emails / phone, (to ascertain patients needs), so all concerns are address at the initial appointment. 
  • Optics confirmation calls 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Teams / Outlook and other Office 365 systems. Including managing teams channels and task boards
  • Monitoring and responding effectively to emails within Specsavers customer email and NHS email inboxes
  • Engagement with external clinical providers, such as private and NHS ophthalmology clinics and GP's
  • Proficient with audit data, (minimal) booking and amending appt's only.

 

Some of the skills we’re looking for include: 

  • Previous optical experience 
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service 
  • Teamworking 
  • The ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks and workload.
  • IT confident 
  • Excellent communication and listening 
  • Ability to adapt and develop
