Salary:  £38,000 FTE depending on experience 

Working hours: Part-time (2 days per week)
Experience level: GOC registered Contact Lens Optician

 Specsavers in Aberdeen are looking for a Contact Lens Optician to join their team due to additional demand. We are looking for 2 days per week, however, if you prefer full-time we can mix up your days as a Contact Lens Optician and a Dispensing Optician. 

We’re a busy store and are really dedicated to ensuring that every one of our customers receives an excellent patient experience, it’s no surprise we have been finalists in 2022 and 2024 for the Northern Star Business Awards for Customer Service.

As our new Contact Lens Optician, you will be working with a great team of around 70 staff, including 14 clinicians, 9 test rooms and your clinic will be fixed working to 20/25 minutes, with admin time at the end of the day. The Directors are all EMCC accredited coaches and are committed to training and development, so in your 1-1’s you can expect focus on you and areas you wish to grow in rather than numbers.

Some of the team you will be working with had relocated to Aberdeen, so they are keen on socialising outside of work and usually get together on a monthly basis. The store love getting involved in community work and have recently sponsored boxing tournament and a monthly quiz, as well as running homeless clinics.
