Position: Contact Lens Optician

Location: East Dereham, Norfolk 

Salary: Competitive package available up to £35,000

Working hours: Full Time or Part Time 

Experience level: You must be GOC registered 

Ready to be the reason our patients can find freedom with their lenses? As a certified Contact Lens Optician, you’ll be able to provide an alternative to glasses by conducting contact lens fitting and aftercare services. As part of the Specsavers team, you’ll join an industry leader, experience real innovation, and be supported by an incredible team to always get the job done well.   

Our amazing store has and all the most up to date NIDEK equipment, including OCT and phoropters. We have a highly experienced and long-standing team. Our directors Kevin and Michael have 35 years’ experience between then with Specsavers offering the very best support and knowledge.

With a focus on flexibility, we are open to full-time and part-time applicants and will consider any working pattern to suit you. So, whether you need condensed hours, alternate weekends, or no late finishes, we’re open to making it work - but let’s talk about that later.

We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you’ll need a Contact Lens Certification and excellent working knowledge of contact lens options, features and benefits. You’ll also need to effectively communicate with people at all levels, be adaptable and open to change, have a world-class customer service approach to everything you do, and be driven and motivated to achieve your own and the business’ targets.
