Are you ready to be the driving force behind our data products? Specsavers is looking for a Data Product Manager to join our team. As the Data Product Manager, you'll play a crucial role in managing the relationship between business users and IT teams, ensuring that business needs for data products are understood and met.
You'll define and own the product roadmap, aligning it with strategic goals and ensuring development roadmaps are business-led and future-proofed. You'll act as the go-to person for product support, queries, and questions, partnering with stakeholders to understand needs and prioritise technical requirements. Your role will involve collating, prioritising, and accepting work from business and technical teams, developing and maintaining a prioritised backlog of user stories for implementation, and coordinating sprint content into planned releases.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the development and release of functionality, ensuring projects deliver agreed business objectives and technology benefits. You'll identify user needs, help customers understand real business value, and possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies. Your role will also involve solving product-related problems, making decisions, and completing trade-off analysis, as well as developing effective working relationships with global teams and promoting data capabilities and best practices to wider product teams.
We're seeking a qualified professional with experience working as a Data Product Manager. You should have a strong data background with broad experience across Data Management, Data Architecture, AI & Machine Learning, Data Migration. Experience working with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Business Analysts, Architects and Data Modellers is essential. You should have demonstrable experience of stakeholder management at a senior level and an understanding of agile delivery methodologies. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, along with organisational and time management skills, are crucial.
