Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 depending on experience 
Working Hours: Full-time  

Experience Level: Must have previous experience working in an optician's and must have a GOC number.

What we’re looking for

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Dispensing Optician, the right person for this position will be confident, possess a strong worth ethic and a willingness to succeed. You’ll be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a Dispensing Optician who will go the extra mile for our customers and someone who encourages their colleagues to do the same. In summary, we’re looking for a high calibre resident Dispensing Optician to join us and assist in driving this excellent practice forward.

Location:

Newquay is a town on the north coast of Cornwall, in southwest England. It’s known for sandy Fistral and Watergate Bay beaches, where waves from the Atlantic Ocean create strong surf. On the seafront, the Blue Reef Aquarium features an underwater tunnel going through a coral-reef tank with pufferfish, sharks, and rays. Further inland, surrounded by tropical gardens, Newquay Zoo is home to lions, wildebeest, and sloths.
