Position: Dispensing Optician

Location: Redhill, Surrey

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience + performance related bonus

Working hours: Full and part time considered with one weekend day per week

Experience level: This role is open to both newly qualified and experienced Dispensing Opticians who are registered with the GOC

Specsavers in Redhill are looking for a driven Dispensing Optician to join them on a full or part time basis. With a focus on development, if your next step is to become a Contact Lens Optician then Redhill can support and fund you through this course. 

You will be joining a well-established team that offer a true family feel. With a full refurbishment and expansion plans in October 2024, Redhill will be increasing from 4 to 5 test rooms, all fully equipped with the latest clinical technology.

Dispensing Opticians are the face of the clinic on the shop floor and usually an integral part of the store management team, so Redhill are keen to get you up to speed with management responsibilities. With ILM courses, pre-reg supervision and the opportunity to own your own Specsavers business, the store directors can guide you on your way to becoming a great leader. This, along with your clinical expertise will stand you in good stead if you choose to become a store director yourself one day.

Someone who wants to grow, develop, and offer exceptional customer care along the way. We want a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, that isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach and who is keen to get involved and build rapport with the rest of the team.
