Specsavers Rutherglen are seeking a Dispensing Optician Manager to join their existing loyal and committed team. If you’re looking for an employer who provides clinical progression and training, then Specsavers Rutherglen could be the store for you. This thriving store employs 28 colleagues, boasts 5 test rooms and has state of the art equipment, including OCT. By becoming our new Dispensing Optician Manager you will become an integral part of our in-house leadership team.

With your optical experience and solid knowledge of what an excellent practice looks like you will be in charge of all of our colleagues’ training and development. We’re looking for an expert team leader who is organised, approachable and supportive - making people feel confident and free to input their ideas and suggestions.

If you are looking for a role that offers great work/life balance, our store has a working pattern that can accommodate full-time over 5 days per week or longer hours over 4 days, all while avoiding late nights. Plus, the role only requires 1 Saturday per month.

We want a practitioner who prides themselves on their clinical judgment, that isn’t afraid of a hands-on approach and who is keen to get involved and build rapport with the rest of the team.
